OUR PREMIUM GRADE MULCHES
Pine Bark Mulch - 80% Pine Bark (100% Pine Trees). Premium Hardwood Bark - At least 75% bark of Poplar and Oak Trees. Premium Root Mulch - At least 80% Hardwood Tree Roots. Hardwood Mulch - 100% Virgin (no debris, pallets or ties).
DOUBLED-SHREDDED vs. TRIPLE-SHREDDED
Triple shredded mulch is a darker and richer in color. The appearance is slightly more even when distributed over your flowerbeds or gardens.
THE COLOR of MULCH
Aging Mulch outside in large piles darkens in color. After spreading, all Mulches lighten due to the bleaching effect of the sun. Mulches which are high in \'wood\' (inside part of the tree) bleach faster and become lighter than do bark or root mulches.
